Food & Drink on Our Doorstep

There are so many great bars and restaurants right on our doorstep. We have highlighted a few places where you will find everything you need.

The Boulevard Mar Menor Right Outside Resort

The Boulevard

The Boulevard is just outside the resort and offers anything you need for food and drink. If you want a cold drink, a snack, Cooked Breakfast, Tapas, or Fine Dining, it's all available there. With a wide variety of cuisine choices, you will find everything you need.

Los Alcazares Dining and Coastline Seafood & Tapas

Los Alcazares & Hotel 525 Square

Being right next to the Mar Menor, Los Alcazares is the place to go for local seafood. It offers a choice of many authentic Spanish restaurants, but again there is something for everyone. The Hotel 525 square is a buzzing and vibrant location with a wide choice of restaurants and bars.

Torre Pacheco Town Traditional Spanish

Torre Pacheco

Just a short car journey away from the resort, this traditional Spanish town has some amazing restaurants within. If you want to try a proper, authentic Menu del Dia, then this is the place to go!

Out & About Around Mar Menor

There's much to see and do around the Mar Menor and beyond. Here's just a small selection of our favourite places.

Mar Menor Beaches Sandy Beaches

The Beach & Mar Menor

The Mar Menor covers a vast area of 135 square kilometres with amazing sandy beaches. Most beaches have facilities for food, drinks, and toilets, and many are accessible for wheelchair users.

Mar Menor Calm Salt Lagoon Little Sea

The Mar Menor ("Little Sea")

A 135 km² calm salt lagoon with clear, soothing water. One huge bonus is that the water temperature is always around two degrees warmer than the Mediterranean Sea!

La Manga and Mediterranean Sea Proper Waves

The Mediterranean Sea (La Manga)

Whilst the calm water of Mar Menor is blissful, some miss "proper waves". The Med is a short drive away towards San Pedro or La Manga, offering everything needed for a classic beach day.

Lo Pagan Mud Baths Free Activity

The Mud Baths at Lo Pagan

A free natural spa activity for all ages. The therapeutic mud is said to be very beneficial for all skin types, aches, and pains. Cover yourself in mud, let it dry, then dip in the sea to rinse. Beware of the smell though!

Water Parks Murcia & Torrevieja Family Fun

Water Parks (Murcia & Torrevieja)

Having around 320 days of sunshine a year locally, most activities are outside. Big water parks in Murcia (Terra Natura / Aqua Natura) and Torrevieja offer great family days out.

El Habanero Tren Turistico Los Alcazares

El Habanero Tren Turistico

"The Tourist Train" in Los Alcazares. Enjoy an evening ride around old and new parts of town. With stops outside bars and restaurants, you can hop on and off. Make sure you wave to people!

Dos Mares, Habaneras & Nueva Condomina

Dos Mares in San Javier is compact with everything under one roof. Habaneras in Torrevieja and Nueva Condomina in Murcia offer extensive retail choices.

Alicante Designer Outlets

The Outlet Stores in Alicante have top brand bargains, plus bowling, cinema, and gym facilities.

Taxis, Buses, Trains & Airports

Navigating to and from Mar Menor Golf Resort is simple and well-connected.

A dedicated taxi service operates on-resort: +34 616 406 402 for local journeys and airport transfers. All local towns also have dedicated taxi ranks.

Buses & High-Speed Trains

Buses run from outside the resort into Torre Pacheco bus station. Torre Pacheco train station connects Cartagena and Murcia, linking with the High-Speed rail network (Handy hint: the Trainline app works great in Spain!).
